For a number of years Anne Drolet was the primary librarian at the Waverly Public Library in charge of our local history collection. She truly immersed herself in this collection and it was evident to me that not only was she an extremely capable researcher, but also that she enjoyed her work in local history immensely. She quickly became our local expert who we called upon to deal with genealogy questions and other inquiries requiring research of historical newspapers and other historical resources. Later we hired Anne to write a history of the Waverly Public Library to celebrate our 150th anniversary.
